Why you should visit Finland

You should visit Finland because it offers a kind of peace and natural beauty that is genuinely hard to find anywhere else in the world. Imagine paddling through a lake district with thousands of islands, hiking through ancient forests that seem to go on forever, relaxing in a traditional lakeside sauna, and watching the northern lights shimmer across a silent winter sky.

Beyond its nature, Finland also surprises you with its culture. From the vibrant design scene of Helsinki to the reindeer farms of Lapland and the unique traditions of Finnish sauna culture, there is a depth here that goes far beyond what most people expect.

Add to that the feeling of space and stillness, the freshness of the air, the warmth of the people despite the cold of the winters, and Finland becomes a destination that genuinely restores you.

For us, Finland is not just a place to travel to, it is a place to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with something quieter and more essential.

Our experiences

Exploring Finland, especially Lapland, felt like stepping into a real life winter fairytale. Staying in Levi, we experienced some of the most memorable winter activities, from husky sledding and snowmobile rides to peaceful snowshoe hikes through silent forests. Spotting the northern lights was a true highlight and made the trip feel magical. Visiting Rovaniemi and crossing the Arctic Circle added another special layer, with the unique experience of being in the official home of Santa Claus. We also visited a reindeer farm, which gave us a glimpse into local traditions. Helsinki offered a nice contrast with its modern and relaxed city vibe. Finland felt calm, pure and unlike anywhere else we have been.
