Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is a land of vast deserts, towering mountains, and a history that spans millennia, offering travelers a journey through both ancient and modern wonders. From the bustling streets and modern skyline of Riyadh to the historic Nabatean tombs of Madain Saleh and the dramatic Red Sea coastline, the country is full of contrasts. Its rich cultural heritage, vibrant markets, and warm hospitality provide insight into a deeply traditional yet rapidly evolving society. For those seeking adventure, history, and unforgettable landscapes, Saudi Arabia promises an experience that is both awe-inspiring and profoundly unique.

Why you should visit Saudi Arabia

You should visit Saudi Arabia because it is a country that is opening up to the world and revealing a side of itself that most travellers never expected to find. Imagine exploring the ancient Nabataean city of AlUla carved into towering sandstone cliffs, wandering through the labyrinthine alleys of Jeddah's UNESCO-listed old town, and watching the sun sink below the horizon over an endless desert landscape that stretches as far as the eye can see.

Beyond its history, Saudi Arabia surprises with its scale and diversity, from the energy of Riyadh's modern cityscape to the calm of its Red Sea coastline, where some of the most pristine coral reefs in the world sit virtually untouched.

Add to that a culture of hospitality that is among the most generous you will encounter anywhere, and Saudi Arabia becomes a destination that challenges every assumption you had before you arrived.

For us, Saudi Arabia is not just an emerging destination, it is a country on the edge of something remarkable, and there has never been a better time to discover it.

Our experiences

Saudi Arabia completely surprised us in every possible way. The country is often seen as conservative and traditional, which is partly true, but in recent years it has gone through massive change and development. What stood out most was how welcoming and open the country felt to travelers, with locals always happy to engage and share a conversation. We were impressed by the scale of restoration projects like Al Diriyah in Riyadh, where huge investments are being made to preserve and showcase the country’s history. At the same time, the landscapes exceeded expectations, from the dramatic rock formations in the Royal Reserve to the endless coastline along the Red Sea. Places like AlUla felt almost like stepping back in time, with ancient civilizations and incredible ruins, while cities like Jeddah showed a modern and ambitious side of the country. Saudi Arabia felt vast, diverse and full of contrast, far beyond what many people might expect.
