South Korea
South Korea is a land where cutting-edge modernity meets rich tradition, offering a captivating blend of bustling cities, tranquil temples, and scenic landscapes. From the vibrant streets and neon lights of Seoul to the historic palaces of Gyeongju and the volcanic beauty of Jeju Island, every region tells its own story. The country’s dynamic culture, delicious cuisine, and warm hospitality invite exploration, whether hiking through mountains, strolling along serene coastlines, or experiencing lively local markets. For travelers seeking both adventure and cultural immersion, South Korea promises a journey that is energetic, inspiring, and unforgettable at every turn.

Why you should visit South Korea
You should visit South Korea because it is a country that manages to feel both deeply rooted in tradition and thrillingly modern at the same time. Imagine wandering through the stone lantern-lit pathways of an ancient palace in Seoul, hiking to a volcanic crater lake on Jeju Island, staying overnight in a centuries-old Buddhist temple, and then finding yourself in one of the most vibrant and energetic cities on earth just hours later.
Beyond its contrasts, South Korea also wins you over with its food, which is without doubt one of the great culinary cultures of the world, and with the genuine kindness of its people that makes navigating even an unfamiliar place feel surprisingly easy.
Add to that a travel infrastructure that is among the best in Asia and a culture that rewards the curious traveller at every turn, and South Korea becomes a destination that is very hard not to fall for.
For us, South Korea is not just an exciting place to visit, it is a country that surprises you at every turn and leaves you wishing you had planned to stay longer.

Our experiences
Exploring South Korea was one of the most diverse and fascinating journeys we have experienced. Traveling by high speed train made it easy to move between very different regions, each with its own character. Jeju Island stood out with its volcanic landscapes and unique nature, while also being home to the famous haenyeo, female divers who still dive without oxygen tanks. Busan offered a great mix of city life and coastal views, with places like Gamcheon Culture Village adding color and creativity. Gyeongju impressed us with its rich history and cultural heritage, while Seoraksan National Park provided stunning natural scenery and great hiking opportunities. Seoul was an experience on its own, a massive and vibrant city that truly feels like a global metropolis. Visiting the DMZ added a completely different perspective and made the trip even more unique. South Korea felt modern, traditional and unlike anywhere we have been before.
