Iceland

Iceland is a land of dramatic contrasts, where fire and ice shape a landscape unlike anywhere else on Earth. From towering glaciers and active volcanoes to black sand beaches and steaming geothermal springs, every corner offers something unforgettable. Among its many natural wonders, Iceland’s waterfalls stand out as some of the most breathtaking sights—powerful, pristine, and often just a short walk from the road. Whether you’re chasing adventure or simply soaking in the scenery, Iceland promises an experience that feels both wild and magical.

Why you should visit Iceland

You should visit Iceland because it offers a unique mix of natural wonders you won’t find anywhere else. Imagine standing beside powerful waterfalls, walking on glaciers, relaxing in geothermal hot springs, and exploring black sand beaches shaped by volcanic activity.

Beyond its landscapes, Iceland is also one of the best places in the world to see the Northern Lights, especially during the winter months. In summer, you can experience the Midnight Sun, where daylight lasts almost 24 hours.

Add to that the peaceful atmosphere, friendly locals, and the feeling of being surrounded by raw, untouched nature, and Iceland becomes a destination that’s both adventurous and unforgettable.

For us, Iceland is not just a trip, it is an experience that stays with you long after you leave.

Our experiences

Exploring Iceland by campervan was without a doubt one of the best travel experiences we have ever had. Having the freedom to drive wherever we wanted and stay the night surrounded by nature made the trip feel incredibly special. We woke up next to waterfalls, parked with views over vast landscapes and ended our days in complete silence under the open sky. The flexibility of a compact camper made it easy to adjust our plans and follow the weather or our mood. It turned the journey into an adventure where every day felt different and completely our own.

Practical tips

  • Driving : Easy, roads well maintained

  • Costs : Expensive, plan your budget
